This site sets no cookies, and it loads nothing from other companies’ servers: its fonts, scripts and images all come from its own. So when you arrive, there is nothing to accept or refuse.
1. What the site remembers in your browser.
A few choices you make on the site are kept in your browser’s own storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), so that the next page remembers them. The site’s server never reads them, and they never leave your device.
upmate-theme- Dark, if you switched to it. Light is the default and stores nothing. Kept until you clear it.
upmate.sound.v1- Your answer to the sound question, sound on or off, and the volume of each of the three channels. Kept until you clear it.
upmate-found- Which of the things hidden across the site you have found. Kept until you clear it.
upmate-letters- Which of the six hidden letters you have found. Kept until you clear it.
upmate-lens- That you have held the magnifier, so its hint stops appearing. Kept until you clear it.
upmate-intro- That the opening animation has played, so it plays once in each tab. Deleted when you close the tab.
upmate-lens-hint- That the magnifier’s hint has shown in this tab. Deleted when you close the tab.
2. How to clear it.
Your browser’s settings can delete this site’s data at any time, usually under “Site data” or “Privacy”. The site then works as on your first visit: it asks about sound again and forgets what you found.
