An accounting firm that answers in one place.

A site and a client portal for an accounting firm in Thessaloniki, built for how Greek accounting actually works.

The taxisplus.gr home page
  • 18 pages, split between businesses and individuals
  • 22 database tables in the client portal
  • 3 scheduled jobs that run with nobody watching

The starting point.

TaxisPlus is our own accounting firm in Thessaloniki, for businesses, individuals and Greeks living abroad. We also use it to show what we build when nothing is compromised.

Its problems weren’t about looks. The same questions arrived every day by phone, email and Viber, documents lived in email, WhatsApp and USB sticks, myDATA, AADE, e-EFKA and Ergani deadlines never stopped, and nothing recorded who asked what, or when.

What we built.

Seven phases, each closed by an approval before the next one began, and no code before the plan was approved.

  • An 18-page site with separate services and calls to action for businesses and for individuals.
  • A blog with a category filter and live search, and an article template with a reading-progress bar and a table of contents.
  • A client portal: requests with attachments, a document vault, a knowledge base whose search tolerates typos in Greek, deadline alerts and a tax calendar.
  • Login with the tax ID (ΑΦΜ), a forced password change on first login, email verification, and a lockout after repeated failures.
  • Three scheduled jobs: incoming email becomes a request every 5 minutes, deadline alerts go out daily at 08:00, and open requests get hourly reminders.
  • White-label: no detail of the firm is hard-coded, so the system can be set up for another firm without code changes.

What changed.

Phone calls, emails and messages now meet in one channel with a history. Every request, reply and document carries a timestamp and a sender.

Clients hear about deadlines before they have to ask, and the firm can take on more clients without the admin growing at the same rate.
